did you unplugged the ps3 for a little while and replug it to see if the stadby led comes on again?
also, check if the 4 wire connector from the psu is seated properly. the pinout should be: 1. Switch_on 2. Ground 3. Ground 4. +5V <----- |

The cable may not appear damaged but have you checked the ends of the cable (the contacts) they need to be shiny with no worn dirty marks on.

@MoREL
If you have no red standby light, it is most likely the cable to the PSU. Maybe you have broke the plug to the mobo for it. Like you did on the fan. The e3 flasher did not cause this problem. The person installing the flasher caused the problem. If you have not even updated the flasher and make any dumps, then you didn't do any flashing yet. So, the problem is definitely a hardware issue. You can solder a wire from the nor tristate to ground, to confirm that is hardware related. If the console stays on with that wire soldered, then it is from the flash. But I think that will be a waste of time. My guess is you broke the plug for the white psu cable. I have a cech-2501b, with the same problem. At first the plug did not look that bad, then it got worse as I messed with it. Please change the title of the thread. E3 flasher has nothing to do with your problem. Except for you failed at installing it without breaking your PS3.

cheeky SOD (Son Of a Dog) ![]() btw has nobody mentioned how Mr.Dutch loves hardware faults and none english speaking threads? no!! funny that ![]() @MoREL you might not like what your hearing right now but it is down to user error. and now the ps3 is getting worse. your ps3 is now dead? no light nothing. try your mains lead in something else like a stereo to see if thats working and vice versa (the wall plug cable to ps3) once you comfirm thats working follow players advice. dont skip anything he tells you to do and dont add anything he hasnt told you to do. now to see what else @Mr.Dutch has got me into

are you trying to measure volts?, it's an unusual number you are posting.
