PS3 Won't Install Firmware
Hi, I have not jailbroken my PS3 or anything. Just having issues and not getting any help from Sony.
I was having lots of issues with my PS3 not even booting so I just gave up and tried to reformat everything and start a new. I have a 3001A model. I have reformatted my HDD on my PC then put it in the PS3 and I have to install the new firmware of course. But no matter what I do I am getting a No applicable update data was found message. Greater than 4.25. I have the new 4.31 firmware on a USB drive and in the PS3/UPDATE folders. I even tried another HDD in the PS3 and I can't get it to install. Tried a different USB drive also. Any help? Suggestions? Need more info? Thanks guys! |

i got the same problem i have not tryed it yet but i think it can be fixed with a e3 flasher
i will try as soon as i can get the free time |
