Hey PS3Hax.

So I'm new to the whole PS3 Scene and only purchased my PS3 two days ago.

I only got one game with it, which was FIFA 13, and I am getting quite bored of it.

Ofcourse, I don't want to go out and spend loads of money on games, so I'm very interested in JailBreaking.

Now before you go ahead and send me to some tutorials, please take into consideration that I am an ABSOLUTE beginner. And I really don't want to break my PS3 that I only bought two days ago.

I have checked out which OS it has, and as far as I can see, it's on 4.21.
So I have concluded that I need to downgrade in order for the Jailbreak to work.

However, I haven't a clue how to go about doing the downgrade, let alone the jailbreak.

So if I could get some kind of mentor that will guide me through this, that would be GREAT!

I really hope some of you will be able to help me so that I can start downloading my games and play them for free :P

Everybody on this site started out as a n00b so you're not special in anyway. You have to bite the bullet and get to researching and reading and reading and reading if you really want to get this done.

Refer to my post in your "intro thread" and get to reading to understand all downgrading entails.

I assume if you got FIFA with it, it will be a 3000/4000 model in which case you are Sol.

Yeah I got FIFA 13 with it.
But like FIFA is more of a social game.
So I can only really enjoy playing it when I have mates over.

Which is why I want to Jailbreak it so that when I don't have mates over I can play other games :P

People will most likely not help you, is the point we are trying to make. You admitted your are going to download games. Therefor, most people will not help you.

I dont think you get it, and Im not talking about your desire to pirate games, I couldnt care less about that, but you were told by @mrc1978 that since your system came with Fifa 13 that you likely owned a 3000 or 4000 model so it will not be jailbreakable with current techniques. So, your pretty much out of luck. There is currently no way to help you.
