Hi I`m completely new to PS3 jailbreaking, already read all kind of threads but still have some questions left.
As far as I understand I can downgrade to 3.55 using an E3-Flasher, once done I can go to CFW 3.55 and from there to rogero Cfw 4.31.

I`m kinda unsure wether I need a USB Dongle or not?

You'll need a dongle to get into factoryservice mode..
the e3 card reader will do

Can I go from OFW 3.55 directly to Rogero 4.31 or do I have to go on CFW 3.55 first?gestions?

Which USB Dongle should I use, any suggestions?

like @Goldeneye said e3 card ready is well working

once youre on ofw 3.55 you have to install cfw 3.55 first (recommend rogero 3.55 v3.7) install then rogero 4.30 v2.03

btw there is no rogero 4.31 the newest cfw by rog is 4.30 but its spoofed so the ps3 and PSN will think it is a 4.31 firmware to allow you psn acces without updating (to ofw)

Hi searched the Inet but e3 card reader is nowhere available.
Any other suggestions? What about this stick PS3 Break V1.2?
Anyone tested this already?

That is a very reliable site, with fast shipping worldwide.

When you do the downgrade, you can go straight to the latest Rogero 4.30 v2.05. No need to go to CFW 3.55, then OFW 3.55, then CFW 4.30.

Hi,
I did search quite a while and finding the E3 Card Reader was not the problem, but it seems it`s nowhere available at the moment?
So I thought a other dongle could be fine too, but before I order some bu****t I rather have recommendations from experienced users which to use instead.

Regarding the downgrade you mean instead of downgrading to OFW 3.55 I can directly flash to Rogero 4.30 or do I have to go back to OFW 3.55 and the up to CFW 4.30?

3.55 is history. If you bothered to pay attention and read the post exactly above your own their is no need to go 3.55 anymore. Just downgrade directly to rogero 4.3 it has all checks disabled the same as rogero 3.55 v3.7.
