You do not need to do the Qa flag and install any OFW part. I would suggest installing Rogero 4.30 v2.05 from the recovery menu again, though. Because the ros1 folder is empty now. And can cause problems later. Reinstalling Rogero 4.30 will fill the folder back up with the files that are suppose to be there.

Now it's worse I am on 4.30 but I cant install any pkg file and it is refusing to take any update. including Rogero 4.30 v2.05 when I tried to install it through recovery as you suggested.

Are you sure it's not your USB ports are dirty? Clean them out with some Isopropyl Alcohol and a cotton swab.

Has to be something with the USB ports. What is your model #?

Why would that have anything to do with the USB ports not working?

make sure bdrom is installed with no games etc in it and it does work ok otherwise no pkg will install

If everything was failing I would say that is true. but it's working in everything else. It was installing pkg a few hours ago. Model= CECH-2512A

Before I start working on it. It was on OFW 4.25 before that it might have been on DEX 3.55... how will that affect it?

i had same issue. i ended up using Baileyscream's file he mentioned in here, and formatted USB (1GB) to FAT, not FAT32
