Don't know why I laughed at that, but I did nonetheless.

Tried to convert my own God of War CoO and GoS PSN USA saves to God of War Collection vol.2 EU (BCE01277).
Also tried to resign someone else's save for BCES01277 with my profile. Used the videotutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=scW1z5Glths With or without "copy params of a specified game" option checked I'm keeping to receive "the data is corrupted" message when copying resigned saves to my console. I have msvr100.dll installed, and pfdtool doesn't show errors if I run it, it just opens a dos window and instanly closes it, is it normal? Can't understand what I'm doing wrong ![]() PS: Someone said that this tool didn't resign SFO properly and to fully resign a save one should 1) use this tool to resign other files in the save; 2) use bruteforce tool to resign param.sfo properly. Is it so? Last edited by greyestest; 01-07-2013 at 10:06 AM. |

@greyestest
The Psn versions of those games are not in the games.config so they don't have the secure file id which is needed to resign. You can try the Bruteforce tool and find those secure id's.

The folder where save/profile is stored has the same name as saves of disc version (BCUS98229-COO/BCUS98229-GOS) and it's in the games.config. Also, I tried just to adapt someone else's saves of BCES01277 to my console, didn't work either.... PS: It's peculiar that I managed to resign GoW Collection (the first one, GoW1+2) from US to EU by simply overwriting contents of the save folder except PARAM.SFO. The game warned me if I recall correctly, but loaded the save and after I re-saved it in the game it was fully fixed. But I couldn't do the same with the USA->EU GoW Collection #2 (CoO+GoS) conversion, I hoped this tool would help

Anyone has problem with MGS2 HD's VR mission save resigning? I have no problem resigning the Main Story save file and Snake Tale save file but when its for the VR Mission save file, I can use it but the game keep saying ''Trophies disabled using this save'' even though I resigned it.

@DarkHadou
take the parm.sfo from your original save and copy paste / overwrite it to the one you want to mod then resign. I had a game that resigned correctly but it didn't work for an odd reason then i tried the this method and everything worked fine.

UPDATE: There something I noticed. I have 2 different modded files for the VR Missions, I noticed one of them has a extra named ''_gspinfo.DAT'' which my original save file and the other modded file lack. The save with the ''_gspinfo.DAT'' can be resigned perfectly while the other will always bring the ''Trophy disabled'' message. I tried copying the ''_gspinfo.DAT'' in the other modded file folder and it didn't help. Also the file with ''_gspinfo.DAT'' is North America while the other is European. What exactly is ''_gspinfo.DAT''? Is that the problem? Last edited by DarkHadou; 01-10-2013 at 07:34 AM. |

@DarkHadou
i had that file from a save i downloaded and i always got an error message it was also missing the param.sfo so i deleted that and put mine their maybe its from another program didn't really look into it since it wasnt a problem the guy said he took his bles save and converted it to blus and that appeared so i think its from a program he used ?? or the save is special and needs a console id ?

I'm having trouble getting this to work. I followed the instructions on the video very carefully and even made sure that the characters in the entries were the same as the oes in the video just to be sure. I'm trying to resign JakII so it will let me load a save but even if I check the box to copy the SFO of a specific game (my own save for the game) it still comes up as corrupt when I try to copy it off the USB stick with the PS3.
The same thing happens with Infamous and I copied the keys again to be sure. ![]() Edit: I've noticed that when you highlight the manager key it says that it's a 40 character key but on the wiki and the video it's a 32 character key. Last edited by mforcevirus; 01-11-2013 at 08:26 AM. |
