[SOLVED[E3Flasher] Unable to clip e3flasher on Nor (10001100)

Hey all

it is not the first PS3 I jailbreak using an E3 Flasher but my new one (well old model of course (it is compatible)) has a Samsung Nor Chip plus it is not oriented properly.

Most people have their chip that way :

But mine is like this :

I've tried more then 10 times to place it properly but the clip doesn't feel to fit properly. It looks like if I place correctly the right side, the left side goes up and if I place correctly the left side, the right side goes up. The first thing I thought it to try to sand it a bit but it didn't work so I kept sanding it but still no success. The clip just doesn't clip properly on it so I always get 10001100 error which usually means it is not properly placed (Failed to initialize bios, something like it).

So yeah I'm lost, I've no idea of what I could do :S Should I get a new clip? if so what will I do? It's not gonna fit properly again I guess

PS: Pictures from google

Thanks you

All I can say is stick it down with some duct tape. You need a big amount of pressure on the clip. I've got the same clip. And it took me hours to get the working

really did everything but the thing is that I can't even make it fit fine with my finger pressure so whatever I will put wont work :S

have you modified the clip yet as there is most likely a resistor on the nor chip

okay try putting alot off pressure on till you hear a click, if that doesn't work then get an a4 sheet and fold it till it is the same size as the clip, put ontop and tape it down. Works everytime for me

I had tried with carton (from a cereal box) but like I said, even if I press it hard with my finger I can see that there is always one side lifted up :S

what I do then if that happens is push it down on one side then press the other, if there is still a gap then do it the other way. Hard to explain over text but I dont have a spare ps3 at hand to make a video guide just now

Tried too I even tried to fold a bit the clip but it doesn't fold at all. I will buy a new cable but I wish there was a video telling how to sand properly the wire :S

The info is there, all you have to do is search.

Look here, here, and here.

You need to take some plastic off the clip. More than you have already. Then use something to keep constant pressure on it. Put the motherboard back together, with something on top the clip. I use an old clip with the ribbon cut off. Works great on cech-2000 models with Samsung Nors.
The last link I gave has the video you want.

Good luck.
