Slim Powers off after 3 secs [no lights] after E3 Flasher Downgrade

I have downgraded my PS3 Slim CECH-25xx Motherboard Model : JTP-001 from 4.31 OFW using baileyscreams guide. I rehashed by enabling the QA flag and installing 3.55 OFW. I got into the XMB on 3.55 OFW, so no problems so far until I decided to put the E3 Clip back on to get a backup of the 3.55 NOR!!

I tried to leave the clip on and also put the harddrive back in, I kept on getting this message on the screen 'ps3 cannot start. The correct hard disk was not found'. I removed the E3 clip in case that was interfering and put the slim back together.

The problem now is that the PS3 keeps on turning itself off after 3 seconds. There are no lights like YLOD or RLOD or anything.
This video shows exactly what is going on...

I don't think it is a short circuit as I have removed all the casing and it still doesn't stay on. I also don't think it has a bad flash as it booted to 3.55OFW XMB ok before I stripped it down again.
Any ideas of what is wrong and how I can fix it?

soldering a wire to the NOR Tristate to GND and you will find where the problem is at hardware or system error

and if you press the power button again the red standby led will come on again right?

if you know how to solder tristate to ground you can rule out a bad flash.
if it still shuts down it's then hardware related.

I haven't got around to soldering the Tristate yet. Its not easy to get a definitive diagram of the soldering points for my motherboard, but I think I have one now.

domelec you suggested that it might be the fuse. Is this located in the power supply itself or on the motherboard? I hope it is this as it sounds like a simple fix (I hope). Could you provide any more information on how to change the fuse out.

Thanks

he's just guessing , but fuses are marked as Fxxxx on the mainboard and thermal resistors are marked as THxxxx

Well I soldered the Tri State to the Ground following various pictures on the forums and this didn't resolve my problem. I still have the same symptoms !!
Press the standby button and 3 seconds later the Slim turns itself off with no lights. If I press the Power button the standby red light goes back on.

I have looked at the motherboard and there are various fuses (labelled Fxxx) but they look ok and they are far to small to solder a new one if they weren't. I tested the big fuse in the power pack with a multimeter and thats ok.

Any ideas what to try now? I read somewhere that you can get the PS3 some sort of diagnostic after the fan test (Fan test works by the way).

I don't have this issue, but just curious what does soldering the NOR Tristate (on the PS3) to a ground (on the ps3) do exactly?
