Have you tried selecting AC3 over DTS or the opposite?DTS over AC3.

Yes, I tried both, one of the iso's created was only 1,5mb, and the other 20mb or something...
And of course when trying to open any of the files, windows reports back that they are damanged.

maybe its not a fully HD mkv. file that ive tested, thought I doubt it isn't, i'll try with some others and report back ...

once again, thanks for the great contribution...

does this have the same problems as TSMuxer? when making a AVCHD disc that ISNT the exact size (1280x720 or 1920x1080, i think thats right) it puts it to the top of the screen and makes strange things happen at the bottom, tried it with iRobot using TSMuxer and it just messed up, but with Cloverfield, which is full screen, not letterbox, it worked fine!

i'll download this when my PC is back up and running, on the wifes lap top right now and all my MKV's are on the PC.

if this works it will save a lot of time!

also, does this sort out the 5.1 level to 4.1, the bit u usually have to do with "h264info" cos i never got TSMuxer to do it, i always had to split the mkv, drop the level using h264info then pop it all into TSMuxer and make an m2ts, not a bluray disc. also most times i cut the credits off (using mkvmerge) to fit the fim to a dvd5. really hate putting a 4.8gb file on a dvd9.

anyway, i hope this works!!!!!

I think u'll have the same problem as with tsmuxer cos avchd only supports hd resolutions like 1280x720 and 1920x1080, not 1280x544 or similar

With tsmuxer u can use m2ts output and burn that on disc > udf 2.5 < Only this doesnt support subtitles & dts audio, but if that isnt a problem... your 1280x544 movies will work this way!
If your source has dts audio u can extract it using tsmuxer and convert it to ac3 with eac3to and mux it together with the h264 video into m2ts.

GOTSent
Easy and Fast x264 .MKV to PS3 and Xbox 360 compatible MP4 conversion, it does not reconvert the video. Requires Haali Media Splitter and AC3 Filter installed. Uses ffmpeg, mkvtoolnix and mp4box.

GOTSent

mkv2vob:
Remux MKV x264/AC3 which play on PS3
