That firmware is only for Jailbroken machines.

There is a minimum firmware PUP on the internet to check to see if your machine can be jailbroken. It needs to say 3.55 or under, I suspect if you find it and run it the result will be 4.25 and you can't Jailbreak that.

Ultra slim 400X series cannot be jailbroken and cannot be downgraded to 3.55 to then be jailbroken.

Sorry, for now you are out of luck.

@Nicolas19 maybe hilight in the OP this is only good for jailbreakable machines? Otherwise we are going to see a lot more confused NooB's posting in here...

This CFW is installed only on consoles With OFW 1.00--3.55 and All CFW/MFW 3.55 or CFW +3.55 with spkg sig check patched

Hmm I see.. I thought it was possible cause I installed a CFW4.31 and it worked. I guess I'll have to wait.

It didn't work.

If it had worked it would be miraculous and you could run homebrew and backups on your 400X series... but you cant, so it didn't work.

Existing games-wise: No it works perfectly, I have updated/reverted any old 3.55 fixes and everything I have tried has worked perfectly

However:

I tried installing GTA:SA PSN-PS2 classic and using ReactPSN and the raps, but it will not work. Have tried 6 times in total now, lots of alternative ways and raps and downloads..., given up now...

Unrelated to Rogero CFW:
My External 1TB HDD has developed the click of death (could not be read on PS3 or my laptpop), so I have prized open the enclosure messed about for 30 mins, got it to boot and stop clicking, and I'm backing it up right now... I need to buy a new one or a better enclosure than the one it came with, it seems its a common seagate problem... ah well.

Tested Family game night (fixed for 3.55) = error *

Tested Driver San Fransisco (fixed for 3.55) = error *

Tested Journey (fixed for 3.55) = "data is corrupt please reinstall"

In summary: I would presume you will need to extract the eboot, fix it with TASR 1.8 and place it back... no big deal
