if no then remove the clip and re-attach it. clamp the clip down and do another dump. validate it. if its good then get a second opinion. if its bad re-do the clip again. if you are soldering wires then re-do all the wires. take your time and use flux. then re-do a dump validate it if its good then get a second opinion if its bad re-do the wires again. if you have flashed then do one of the above and when you get a second opinion put a link to this thread and say your trying to recover from flashing a bad dump. ************* [ - Post Merged - ] *************

It says FI.I ...btw is really The same that i soldered nor tristate to a GND point instead of sbe on clip? Cause i read that is The same but i dunno for sure cause this is my first brick
I checked my 2 dump with an hex editor and they are identical...plus with flowrebuilder and they seems ok...do i need to send them here for a check? You are indeed more qualified than me

FI.I and E3 is goood
the only differents between GND vs SBE point on e3ribbon/or the alternate point at the back of the e3, is that with the SBE point u don't need to remove the wire, flip IF u leave the E3 inthere... the first switch back from Flash fun to normal ps3 mode and the PS3 boots as normal, with Tristate to any GND point on motherboard u have to remove/cut the wire from GND or else the PS3 keeps halting in Tristate mode, i'm sure it's called something else
anyway....u can't do anything else with GND wire connected.... only dump/reflash from it, remove the gnd wire after succesfull flash to boot normal into XMB againthe black screen after restoring/flashing the clean/valid dump, try flashing it 2 times in a row, people seem to have the "black screen" fixed after flashing the same dump twice |

I CUT The wire..ps3 is turning on without shut off like before...but still black screen with no video signal or hd activity any idea?Yes noobzega ...that restore process...in e3 Official video say it need to be' done :/ ...its not necessary? Last edited by Sasuke1981; 01-10-2013 at 12:25 PM. |

well if it stays on now with wire cut and black screen and u sure the dump is valid then reflash the same dump once again, is it a 355 dump? then try trigger FSM mode and install rogero 3.7 from it.....other guys have it fixed..same black screen issue..reflash it and see if it boots first to XMB or something, rogero 3.7 is the PUP to install on such bricks...goodluck
always try first ur own stuff before messing with prohacks dump, just make sure ur own backup from that PS3 is valid cuse if not and using prohack..its perm-bricked don't take my word for it..just trying to help ![]() edit: and restore ISN'T REQUIRED, can't hurt to do it IF the made dump is VALID before doing restore, i was one of them that bricked also there because of it..lucky it was bad clip conn only but normally the restore isn't required to get a succesfull "downgrade"
