Having problem with E3 linker

Im trying to downgrade my slim with the E3 linker, Ive got the wires on the motherboard just fine but the solder is not sticking to the linker..the wires just fall off...Im using Rosin core solder....Any help? Or maybe a tut on how to do the linker besides the picture of the solder points?
Thanks

sounds like your not heating the pad enough, your just melting the solder with the iron.
Heat the pad with iron and apply the solder to the pad untill it melts..
Grounds will be a ***** too...they suck all the heat out of the iron very quickly...give the iron time to get as hot as possible before attempting to do your grounds
use at least a 25 watt iron too
Also, apply solder to all the pads first before you start adding the wires...then its just a matter of melting the solder and adding the wire.
I used that liquid flux for reballing aswell on the mobo and the linker....dont need it but made for a nice job
Are you using lead based solder too?it melts at lower temp
