Cobra psx and ps2 backups help
I'm having a way of a time trying to get psx backups and ps2 backups going.
First of all every psx game i own, some have light scratches some have no scartches when i go into multiman and click square and copy, some games are getting aborted and some games are reaching 97...98 % then the clock just goes up and nothing. With ps2 games the backup time fly's... But when I go to load the backup there is no disc image on XMB menu and I get an error trying to launch via */app_home/Ps3_game. Any help or input would again be much appreciated. Thanks |

What version on mM are you using?
Verify that the backups are going in their correct folders eg. PSXISO for PSX games and PS2ISO for PS2 games. I've experienced that any version of mM above 04.06.02 gives issues with Cobra. I found this out trying to update mM up to version 04.08.00 when I lost the ability to transfer .iso's between internal and the external drives so I went back to 04.06.02 where everything worked and haven't updated since.

The backups are going into the folder dev_hdd0/GAMES/ Ps2 backups are showing up in mm and ps1 backups are not. When i go to launch a ps2 game I'm still having the same problem that i mentioned in my first post. If there not going into the correct folders, how do i change what folder the backups go into? And running mmcm 04.06.02. Thanks |

Okay.
So I'm assuming you don't have Cobra CFW. What you're trying to achieve can only happen with Cobra CFW + the Cobra dongle. <<<<<without this, it won't work.

Create the PSXISO (external/internal) & PS2ISO (internal) folders and put the respective iso's in their folders to see if they show up in the retro column.

No probz.
![]() That's the exact issue I was having with mM versions above 04.06.02....I couldn't cut and paste iso's between internal and external drives. If you're still having the cut/paste issue, delete the mM you currently have and install 04.05.00 FULL then update to 04.06.02.
