I was pressing down on it with my finger. Quite a bit of pressure. Pretty sure it wasn't that. I will retry and report back. Thanks for the replies!

the reason behind Sandin the clip is because their are small resistor sitting very close to the nor chip. (not on all boards). If you sand it down the clip will miss this and sit flush to the board.

Even with the clip pressed down, it still gives the same reading. Any further ideas?

Did you sand it down? It does not matter how much pressure you apply, if you don't remove the excess plastic from the side of the clip it will not sit flush with the mobo even with an elephant on top. Take a look closely at the nor chip and you will see what is restricting you. And try quoting people's posts who are trying to help you so they know when you have replied.

I know its been used by someone else to create valid dumps. I have some sand paper now. Again, I will report back. Sorry for not quoting the replies. I haven't used message boards in years.

Tech, did you manage to find a solution?

I've just bought another clip/ribbon and it still gives me the completed with errors message. I've even tried a different version of Flowrebuilder to no avail.

Just a quick update. New cable gave me the same readings. Problem solved by putting the plates on. Just thought I'd post so if anyone else was having the same problem...

Thanks again people!! Appreciate it!!
