Really guys this is a good news....I was waiting for this since past 1 yr...I have some questions and I believe that u experts will sort it out.
1)I know that this is nothing related to jailbreak but its like a virtual drive...will this be successful according to u all?
2)Will this work on all models and will it work on all ofw in present as well as future.
3)I just wanted to play pirated games on my ps3 cech 3008b...is this the product bst suited for me?

I actually agree this time. Even though I'm not against piracy I do not like the fact that this obviously is ONLY for piracy use from the looks of it. Without homebrew of any kind, I think the company will end up losing more money then gaining it off this thing. No install PKG feature? I think without that souly the thing is pointless without that feature. Unless they actually plan on "somehow" adding it. So ya right now I'm pretty upset over it. I too would rather have a cfw ps3, but iunno since I'm stuck with the ps3 I have now I may not have a choice but to get this. But I'll be damned if I'm gonna pay more then 50$ for it. Read the part in bold of you post. I'm not sure if you were talking to me or not, but if so I didn't ask 3 questions so I'm not sure what question you are talking about. Also, in order for this to work they need blue ray drive keys, which needs an exploitable console to retrieve said keys. Unless they have found some way to retrieve keys from an unexploited console, this won't help anyone because 3k and 4k console owners can't use it, and people with an exploitable console won't need this crap because they will have cfw which is awesome. Even if they find a way to get drive keys from an unexploited console, I'm sure it will take an extra piece of hardware to do this, which they will no doubtly charge out the ass for, just like they are gonna do with this device. " buy my overpriced hardware. Oh wait, you have an exploitable console? No problem because for more money we will sell you what you need to get your keys. Oh wait, the your gonna need this special cord to hook up to your new device.". Vicious, money making cycle. I will have nothing to do with this crap.

Really? So what exactly is the point of this?

Let me see if I got this right, and please correct me if I am wrong. But for this device to work you:

• Need to be on a jailbroken PS3 to extract the BD-Key;

• Need to wait, once a OFW update comes out, for Cobra to make an update for your ODE;

• Need to hope that Sony will be unable to detect it and ban you;

• Need to hope that Sony will not be able to patch things, to make your console stuck on OFW;

Is this correct? Because if so, the free solution is even better, than what they offer. Their only selling point is absolutely moot, if you truly need to be on a jailbroken PS3, to get the damned thing to work.

as for me, I am on OFW 4.31. I only want this to play backups of my games. My server does everything most of the homebrew would do on a PS3 anyway. So I don't care about all the homebrew. Not that I do not respect all the work done, but it is just something I do not need.

Could I go an buy a flasher? Sure. But if I do not have to open the box at all, and I only want to run backups, why bother flashing?

Plus, as far as making money goes, flashers cost money too. Someone is making money from that.
