if you are on 3.55 and you can enter fsm and exit fsm fine ( i don't know about dehashing but i thought it was only needed to change firmware?) , then you can download the remarry-3.55 files, and remarry the bastard.

Riiiiiiight. So what do i do now??
Am I right in thinking that the QA_Toggle step (which is 'dehashing' yes?) was a step suggested to prevent possible bricking as a result of installing firmware in the next steps. A |

i had conversation with Mushy, the guy that fixed up some PS3's for me, then i asked how he always "dehash" the system and told me always used 2xFSM> OFW355 install to proper dehash the system it's just like qa flag only quiker and going by the wiki..recommended above QA..then again QA always works fine to...but to run the PKG u must have a BD drive married to the system..correct?! so once on 355 dehashed! then use the FSM 355 re-marry files to join them again so u can run PKG's again

So, if RSOD a possibility, do I REALLY HAVE TO bother with DeHashing? BUT! if I don't dehash, possibility of bricking. Gordon Bennett!!! Andy |
