E3 Flasher, Which is Real, and Which is Fake?

1.I have this, where the NOR clip is connected to the softboard:

2. NOR clip is separate from the softboard and you have to connect them:

3. This is the pic E3 has on their website:

So which one do you have, and which one is the Legit, real one?

Just go to the e3 website and compare your flasher to the example they set. It's real easy to spot a fake. They have close up pics of genuine and fake.

Yeah I know that, but I got into an argument with a guy that said that if the clip is attached to the softboard (non-detachable) then it's a fake, if it's detached, it's real.

then I found that pic of the ribbon on the E3 website and was surprised with the shape

The only thing I can suggest is what i stated above. If you have your e3 flasher just compare it to the fake pic on the e3 website and you are good to go. I don't think the clips are fake, and I know they were re-designed, it's just the main board that are none genuine. But like I said if you have your flasher just compare and you will soon realise whether it fake or not.

Mine is the Original one comparing with the pic, and I already have done +20 consoles with it so I know it's good. What puzzles me is the different shapes of the ribbon cables, does anyone has something for us about that?

Hey who cares as long as it works for its intended purpose then great. I have 3 E3 FLASHER's and a buddy of mine on the web has 1 real and 1 fake. The funny thing he told me is that the fake one it's clip never gave him a problem no modding it or anything worked straight out the box and we all know the problem we all face with the real E3 FLASHER's clip well that's what he told me. I wish they sold the clip like the one in the video on the E3 website. They have one that they can detach the clip from the ribbon and install a new.

Interesting, so there are variations of the clip. So does anyone have the third clip?

It has an interesting shape, and it's the one on the e3 site.
