Thanks for pointing that out. Just as well I'm being forced to take my time on this: GF now watching that great big steaming pile of cr@p called 'Honey I Blew Up the Kids", this time with an even bigger & stupider grin on her face.

Wow. This is the longest thread I have seen to simply say,

remarry the drive, then dehash. or dehash by installing OFW 3.55 in FSM 2 times before exiting FSM

And what the hell does the recovery menu, have to do with remarrying the blu ray drive?

How to remarry on 3.55 HERE. Yes, this works on Rogero v3.7. And no you do not have to dehash before doing it.

I have done many remarries. Downgrade to Rogero v3.7, remarry with the guide I linked, then dehash qa way. Not sure what is so difficult about that? LMAO!

Riiight. FSM.... different now to what it did before so now confused.

First time I tried this (struggled to get this working at the time too!!!):
Put Minimus AVR in.
Mains on.
Press power, then eject quickly.
Blue LED on for 3 secs
Auto power-off.
Put firmware in USB.
Power on - firmware gets detected & installed.
etc
T.V. BLANK.

Now it's different.
TV is now NOT blank but states Factory Service Mode in a red banner.
Blue LED on Minimus STAYS ON.

OK I thought... navigate XMB to 'System Update' & try to install ReMarry 3.55 from USB only to get "No compatible files found".

errrr WTF?
Q1) I guess the remarry files should NOT be in root of USB but in \PS3\UPDATE\ folder?
Q2) PS3 now stuck in FSM, how do I get it out of FSM?

No, NOT 'simple' btw. Not at all.
