My lights from e3 flasher is exactly the same except the blue ones. They aren't so bright. I barerly see them. Why?
That could also be caused by placing the clip on the wrong orientation

I only have a Slim so what i'm gonna tells you is stuff that I've done with my PS3 Slim but it should be fine on Fat too. My Post merge too is what I did on Slim but should work on Fat but the location of the clip might be different

Well the clip must be in the same orientation as the text on the nor chip of your PS3. So,

in this case, the clip must be oriented in a way that the orange wire is on the bottom and you fold it to go up
************* [ - Post Merged - ] *************
In my case to get it clip properly it is what I did :

1st Place the clip with 2-3 cents on top of it and tape it.
2nd put back the metal case and a few screws
3rd now plug only the required (power and hard drive and E3 Flasher)
4th locate where the clip is. It is close to where the screw of the DVD reader is.
5th use anything like the back of a screwdriver and push hard on metal case the closest to the E3 Clip
6th start backup process and keep pushing if needed

Hope you understand

Edit a picture to help, you push right there in the red cercle, if I remember good it was pretty much there. But whatever you get the point, try to push on the clip ^^

I did exactly as you said and it worked. But now I think i have another problem... When I put the SD in the slot and try to take a backup (1,2,4,5,6,7,8 down 3 up) the blue lights flashes (like this 1,2 and 7 are flashing and the rest of them nothing.) WHY

edit: With a little research i found that i have this error
1 1 0 0 0 0 1 0 PS3 is operating NOR, E3 Flasher cannot operate at the same time Check toggle switch -wrong sitting
Now what?

more pressure needed. If your flasher came with a linker you could always get your father to solder it for you. That way you will get 100% good connection.
