Hey all!

I've a jailbroken PS3 so it doesn't apply for me but it could help other user and I would like to know these informations aswell.

I've gotten the PS3 Slim E3 Flasher compatibility list :



First at the bottom, I can see that some CECH250x.x can't be downgraded. But only some. I can see that the only difference is the motherboard according to the picture.

1st How am I supose to know which board I have?
2nd Why are these there if they can't be downgraded to 3.55? Can they be downgraded anyway?
3rd I know we can't downgrade all models to 3.55 so we can't jailbreak them. But now, there is the Rogero 4.30CFW. Does that mean we can downgrade all of them to 4.30Rogero? If no, can some be? Why not?

you can tell the board by taking apart the ps3 and looking for the golden capital letters i.e JTP001 or DIA001 and so on. They are there so you don't waste your time or ruin the console trying. And once again for the second time today the latest rogero 4.3 cfw is signed with the 3.55 priv key. So consoles which can go to 3.55 can downgrade directly to the latest rogero.

which means if you're not compatible with 3.55, you're not compatible to downgrade directly to Rogero 4.30 based CFW?

That's right as the firmware is signed with 3.55 private keys.
