You are STUPID! What part of permanent hacked don't you get? The f**king psp is hacked forever! I can take out the battery for hours and later plug it back in without a f**king problem. Nothing needs to be done over. But you could uninstall the CFW because it has a program!

Psp 3000 on 6.20 can be perma patched, 6.60 on earlier models can be permanently patched.

Oh that's good to know, the other clown just kept on saying it was permanently and I thought until it's shut down because it's how it worked back then.

Well technically you are both right. There was a time the PSP 3000 couldn't be perma hacked. It was a temporary thing. They updated the PSP CFW though later so that it would stay on CFW. This is just outdated info lmao.

@fanboysarestupid , Yes you were kind of right though. But see I only got into psp hacking not to long ago. So therefore I didn't use any of the old stuff. Just a simple down load. I got to say, first my psp didn't have permanent CFW on it. So I had the permanent patch on my psp 1000 so I just used that. I didn't think it would brick it, but lucky it worked out fine.

Like if you just go and install junk on your psp you could still brick it.
Perhaps, I had my psp 1000 since 2007, works fine. Spent like 200 bucks on games now I get them free. Not sure what type of 1000 it is. Like it could be a 1004 or something for all I know. Back about 3 years ago I removed the tag that tells you. ( it was peeling off) I tried to hack my psp back in 2008 but never had any help. People told me to make a Pandora battery. I made the battery but they never helped me with the other steps so I just gave up. I didn't know a lot about hacking things back then. But when I learned I never used my hacks on FTB-2 to ban or cheat. The only reason I hacked my psp's was for free games and homebrew. Like who wants to pay 20 bucks for Grand theft auto vice city stories when you own one copy of the UMD? I love the lamecraft homebrew. It's very good.

PS if anyone wants a plugin to reduce the risks of briking a psp go and 3k by 3% let me know

I found the buttons of PSPgo too small for my hands and very uncomfortable. Well, anyway..

For PSP 2000/3000 users, I'd recommend purchasing a plastic protective case so the PSP doesn't get damaged or scratched.

Gonna go update from 5.00 M33-6 to download Joyride and then back to 5.00 M33-6 to download it later on my PS3.

once the PSP is hacked, it's hacked. i dont think there is a "temporary" hack that goes away.

just Google how to install CFW on the model PSP you plan to buy.
