Trust me fella you dont need a phukin hammer for them small screws. You need a tip that fits the screw head properly and some pressure. Nothing more and nothing less.

a stomp screwhead wil do, not those pointy ones it wil drive um nuts...here a screenshot, i know a waste of time but it might come in handy as also a magnet screwdrever to lift them up from the PSU, it's all in the tools..all in the tools ...., then after awhile u might decide to use the hammer...not just yet oh and on the screenshot a nice small grinder? / vijl to sand away some of the e3clip corners, for that ofcourse u can use the big grinder u know the ones they use at the woodshop but with the right tools....nothing can beat it and no screws go nuts

what the hell did i just walk into !
a soldering iron to loosen screws!!!! wtf?? the screws go into the plastic housing. you have to be really carefull not to over tighten these in the first plase as the plastic is so soft.

and a hammer and grinder??? omg!! dont put a hammer or grinder to a bloody ps3 unless its had it.
a big shock like that is going to knacker it up.

it sounds like the screwdriver you have is one of them small ones used for tiny screws.
buy a propper screwdriver like haz is showing you above. and get a decent handle one so you can hold it and apply pressure propperly.

and for the clip

dont use a workshop bench grinder (lol that made me laugh @haz367 . unless that wasnt a joke then woops )
just use a file and fine sand paper.
the plastic the clip is made out of is shockingly soft and will file / sand really easy so be relly carefull when you do this.

putting it to a bench grinder will make it dissapear in milli seconds

How about using the correct size bit for the screw. LOL.

The screwdriver that comes with the e3 flasher, will work for all the screws on a slim.

lol it was a joke ofcourse..then again i suck at soldering and jokes nah recently i noticed a post by a guy that grinded the edges fully away making the e3clip pins visable....i think he used one of them workshop grinders lol in the end it's all common sense and use correct tools, if it aint fit properly... stop screwing..u can feel it..it's all in the tools and fingers....or u end up with that tool from telsell..u know the bit to unscrew those...another great small tool.... and if the screw really is nuts best use that other guy's option...melting something plastic and put/hold it firmly in the screw...it melts to correct size and gently remove it...anyway take care with it

It pulls out of the handle, and you can flip it over. On one side is a torx 8 security bit. And the other side is a phillips head.
That is why I say for slims. On phats you need a torx 10 security bit.
