get you father to solder the linker it is much more reliable. Or try another coin on top for more pressure on the clip.

Fully agree, most of the times the NORclip are a big nuisance, when possible better to use directly the linker

remove the clip again and scrape all Norflash and clip pins with a metal pin, bad contact often depends from the resin residues present on the motherboard

sorry for my bad english!

I will try another coin. I put 3 coins of 10 cents. Is that alright or put 3 coins of 20 cents?

don't scrape them pins. You could bend them. Jus clean them and the nor chip pins with some isopropyl alcohol.

still why take a risk when alcohol cleans 100% with no scraping involved.

after doing "some" with e3clip never required to clean with anything, make sure it gets pressed down "fully" all the way..thats the problem!!..nothing else, ofcourse the cleaning may apply for soldering..thats another case but with clip no isopropyl alcohol required

I always clean with isopropyl alcohol both the chip and clip. It causes no harm. It was recommended by a pro here at hax for my 1st downgrade and I have stuck with it since.
