When you say brick only, does it stay on with solid green light, no video?
Or does it not stay on to flash?
You will need to solder a wire to keep it on if it will not stay on to flash.

Once you have it staying on, or if it is already staying on, make a backup. Then compare that backup with the one you flashed, with analysis tab, file compare in HxD.

If the backup you make after flashing, is not identical, then the clip is not secured anymore.

O.k. so you have a wire soldered, from tristate to SBE on e3 ribbon? Or tristate to ground?

If you have tristate to sbe, have 1st switch up and the rest down. flash backup, then put all switches down and boot to recovery menu.

If you have tristate to gnd, flash backup with all switches down, remove wire, then boot to recovery menu.

if it say 4.40 and 4.31 ofw wont install then i would say u have defo f**ked your ps3 , why did u try and downgrade a ps3 that cant be downgraded at the moment ?

have u tried install 4.31 ofw ? what does it do ?
try reflashing again


if nothing works then looks like u have to wait till 4.40 ofw comes out . lets hope thats the next fw if not u have a good wait , if 4.35 is next etc

I try many interations before, and no results.

yes 425to355.PUP lets the console think its a 4.40 FW so that you are able (when youre on cfw) install it
its a 3.55-4.30 or 3.55-4.21 hybrid FW that lets you use only on 3.55 working homebrews like toggle_qa

I don't know when I get hybrid FW.

I tried rebuild PUPs manualy via ps3tools, but new PUP file is not working if I make changes in license.xml and if I replaced files for SYS_CON_FIRMWARE_

I tried use "PUP's Syscon Changer.exe" - but this programm is crash and not working
