Flashing red light
Hello,
I was playing Crysis 2 until my PS3 phat suddenly shut down with 3 beeps and the red light started flashing. I read through some fora and I came across a few possible causes like some service mode error and a corrupt file system, but also the YLOD.. Now I'm afraid of using my ps3. Can anyone help me solve whatever is wrong with it? Thanks. Sent from my Sony Tablet S |

since it's a fat ps3 and it did shutdown while playing a game it's probably due to overheating. reballing is your only hope.

I turned my ps3 on again and it worked for a while, but unfortunately YLOD just hit it. Now since I'm kind of a hardware noob, do you think I should fix (reball) it myself or let a professional do it? If the latter, do you know of any Dutch professional YLOD repair service? Consolemax eh.. Alright, I'll check it out. So reflowing is a temp fix. Is reballing a permanent fix then? Sent from my Sony Tablet S |

it's just extending the issue to a later point and could even wreck it beyond repair get it properly re-balled and bring it to the business to see the station they use there (dus niet op marktplaats kijken) |
