And I use a 9v battery on its side to get behind the sata ports if all elce fails Ouse my adaptor boards

lol i have the same one
but a bit rough for noobs as it can easly be over tightened and crush the clip ..... erm not that I have ever done that lol

ok i will do this a better way.

and take pics of them together so you can compaire them.
then i wil put them all on the same board so you can see how far they will reach.

but the clamp @Sarah1331 and i have is really powerfull. the slightest over press of the trigger will crush the clip

and unless i'm mistaken and mine is different from sarah1331's then i'm sure it doesnt reach on that board.
but sarah1331 does do a hell of alot more downgrades than me and if he says it fits then it fits

i havent used mine in a long long time as i prefer the quick clip clamp

you dont want a ratchet type as you can easly over tighten and break the clip or chip etc

My clamp doesn't fully clear the sata port so I put clip on NAND and put a 9v battery on its side witch is proud of the sata ports by 5 mm then clamp so I have in layers


Top of clamp
9v batt on its side
Clip on chip
Mobo
Bottom of clamp

Saying that I had a cechc and I put clamp on nd got 0000000 all the time just sat the clip on nothing on top no preasure at all

And it read and downgraded

It goes to show try lightly then get to the extreme as a last resort
