Yeah, must be the RSX chip then. You say it takes 2 minutes to shut off? What happens when you go into the recovery menu?

Can't even do that, can't reset video settings. So I hold the power button on start, and 10 seconds later it forces a shut down..

Yep, get a reball, like already suggested. Or sell it for parts and buy another one.

Is reballing a guaranteed fix though? I spent 35$ today on a reflow for gpu and CPU, just need to know this before spending any more money
