@aldostools
Hello Aldo, I would like to request a couple of features and enhancements. 1. Will it be possible for the "Path for SAVEDATA folders" to remember the last 5 history of paths. Every time I change path and re-start the application, it only remembers the last path. Plus a Clear button to clear the field. 2. I am aware of the backup/restore feature that you added. It is great. But this is kinda different. Example: I have a folder in my local HDD "D:\PlaySation_Stuff\PS3\SAVEDATA\". In it I have hundreds of PS3 Saves for various games. If I want to copy a save data to my removable USB stick, I have to perform a number of mouse click to copy to my removable USB stick. Will it be possible to have "Copy To" function in the context menu. When the user click "Copy To", the application prompts a dialog box (same has your "..." beside refresh button), when user simply selects the drive and click ok, the application, creates "PS3\SAVEDATA\" with your selected save data in it. This will be a handy features for users who want to copy saves from their local to removable easily. 3. Will it be possible to add select save data via the first letter of the Title. If the user press "H", the application scrolls to the first save game that starts with H Thanks Aldo!

I have implemented the requested features in the build 2.2, but in a slightly different manner: 1. It now remembers the last 9 paths. Just press the drop down [v] button (near the [...] button) to list the recent paths. I don't think that the Clear button is not necessary, due when the field gets the focus, all the text is selected. You can press Del key or right-click Delete or just start to type to replace the value. 2. I have implemented the "Copy To" feature. It lists all the available folders "\PS3\SAVEDATA" found in all the drive letters. Additionally there is a "Copy to > Folder..." option and it also lists the last selected path used for copy (eg. local folder). 3. The selection of saves by name was already implemented in 2.1. Just type the name or first letters of profile or game title in the "Path" and the list will show only these items. The text filter accepts wildcards. Eg. Unch*ted, c[ae]ll I also added the secure_file_id for a few additional games ![]() It's a shame that very few users have contributed finding more secure_file_id's. Anyway, here is the updated setup: http://aldostools.org/temp/BruteforceSaveData.rar

Hey aldo I tried to use your bruteforce.exe scetool on far cry 3 and it said error: bad file or not supported version of eboot.bin fw3.61. Now any other thing I use on it to dark eboot or ancestor self resigner or the cmd scetool they all give errors to now is that game to new to decrypt because it uses the newer key or something or maybe just user error lol. But yeah thank you for all your great tools man I appreciate them.

@slaughter
if you're trying to decrypt the PSN version (eg. NPEB01096) you have to put the RAP file in a "raps" folder (next to "data" folder).
If you're decrypting the bluray version (eg. BLUS30687, BLES01137 or BLES01138), it should decrypt it without issues. All the known keys up to 4.31 are included in the "keys" file.

Your application is really getting rocksolid! The selection of saves by name or first letters is not working for me. When I type "M" in the path nothing happens. Maybe I am doing it wrong. I feel that your application needs more spotlight for more members/users to use it! @hellsing9 @DEFAULTDNB Aldo has done an amazing job creating his Bruteforce Save Data tool. His latest 2.20 has significant changes/updates to the application. Will it be possible to post it in the font page? I believe if more users knows about this brilliant application, they could contribute to keys database. Thank you. Features ![]() - A full fledged PS3 Backup Manager - Profile Reassignment - Ability to remove copy protection - Ability to trade game save files with other players - Save up to 5 custom profiles - Backs up & Restore your Save Data to your custom location - Transfer save files from BSD to USB easily - Ability to open PS3 Sava Data in HEX editor easily for Mods & Cheats - Comes with its default HEX editor - Users able to set their own default Text & HEX editor - Database has keys for over 750 Game Title - Ability to Bruteforce Sava Data for unkown keys I have made a features list which I think are the highlight of the application. Thanks. Last edited by gingerbread; 01-16-2013 at 09:22 AM. |
