such a noob :(
ok so i just got my first play station ever yesterday and well it is on 4.31... is there and hope I can jailbreak it? it is cech 3001b. if not is there an estimated release on when I could?

Look at the banner at the top. The highest jailbreakable PS3 is 3.55.
But the banner is a little bit outdated. PSN works on CFW.

good news I just talked to the people I bought it from and they will let me exchange the ps3 to one with a lower firmware
