What I meant in my previous post is that if you type a word in the "Path for SAVEDATA folders", the current list is updated with just the items containing that word.

Anyway, I updated the program again adding the requested feature #3.
So, download the tool again

Yes it's the bluray version and it's not just your program that is giving me the error any of them I use are. But your seems to be the simplest and I like the U I best. So many you could try and see if it works for you. 1 thing is I used a dex console to rip the disc thru target manager and the file browser. Would that have anything to do with the problem.

This seems like the right thread to ask this question so here it goes.
I want to mod my DmC (Devil May Cry) save data and i tried to use Bruteforce Save Data in order to do it.The problem is when i try to decrypt the pfd file it gives an error telling me that a disc hash was not found. How do i obtain this key?

I have a quick question for you aldos, would it possible in the next version to add a toggle to turn backups off/on? Although I like the feature and think its good for noobs who might mess up, it can be annoying when I just wanna decrypt and then re-encrypt just to mod something and it does a backup.

I really have no use for that feature and it's a pain to have to keep deleting backups that are piling up because I do a lot of save modding. Thanks and regards for the awesome tool.

Yeap. A simple check box beside "Use Data Aligment" will be great! "[] Enable Auto Backup"

If unchecked, users can still able to backup manually but it will not auto backup when decrypting.

@aldostools I think the installer should also create a shortcut for "PARAM SFO Editor" in the Start menu inside "Bruteforce Save Data" folder.

That way all necessary tools are kept at arms length.

yes, it's possible... indeed the option was already implemented, but hidden.
The option is now available in build 2.2.2, using Right-click > Settings > Enable Auto Backup

Added PARAM SFO Editor and HxD Hex Editor to the Start menu inside "Bruteforce Save Data" folder

Other changes are:
* A progress bar for folder scanning and bruteforce.
* Ability stop the folder scanning pressing Escape key.

Nice new update aldos, works great, no more auto backups. If I think of any more suggestions I'll let you know and thanks again for such a great tool.

There is an error in the shortcut target field for HxD Hex Editor.
