Be careful who you trust to downgrade your ps3 systems. I shipped a perfectly working ps3 out with no issues only to receive a broken one returned that can not be repaired from a user on this forum. All I got was lies and more lies to cover the previous lies. Not one time did he offer to repair the system. I suppose he knew he tore it up beyond repair.

All I want to say is thanks! All that came out of your mouth was BS. I shipped my console to someone who actually knows what he is doing and was told the "you" tried to reflow my GPU and CPU when it was not necessary. That in turn screwed up my ps3 and messed something up on the motherboard.

Just a word to the wise, be careful who you trust. That will catch up with you one day!

He kept to his lies and I found out he messed my ps3 up beyond repair. I'm not mentioning any names but he knows who he is. I am not only out the shipping charges but now have to purchase another ps3. It's just not fair. I know I took the risk and now I feel stupid but still I'm pi$$ed off!

Bro I feel for ya. Your best bet for mailing in your system for downgrading is on EBAY. There you can see ppl's reviews and are garaunteed ur money back by paypal. I had mine sent in to a seller from ottawa and I got my system back within that same week! There are some great downgrading services there.

Yeah you should call him out bro... We dont need ppl like that scamming everyone here. ESPECIALLY if he doesn't know what he's doing. You don't want shoe makers working on your pc or consoles.

BTW downgrading on ebay is affordable! the seller only charged me $35 + $15 shipping to downgrade and install cfw of my choice ( I went with cfw 3.55). I also had to pay $15 to ship it to him. He shipped it back the same day he got it

I apologize guys, it's no one that has responded to this post. The guy refunded my money after almost a month of story after story. I will say the guy is in the US and located up around Iowa. I was told the damage was not done during shipping as it was internal. I'm not saying the guy hasn't a clue I'm just here to say he offered no resolution and straight up BS'd me the entire time. He tried to tell me I tore up my own ps3 that I spent almost $100 to ship and pay for the service. Which is insane, what would I get out of tearing up my own console after shelling out that amount of cash?!? He didn't take any responsibility nor offer to take a look at it when I offered to ship back at my own expense. At that point I didn't care about the downgrade, I only wanted my ps3 working as it did before I shipped out. But no, he kept putting me off and finally I asked for a refund and he gave it to me after a few angry texts. I'm not here to ruin anyone's name but I got burnt bad for my first experience on here. It sucks and its not fair but I took a chance and it back fired on me.
