Judging from jensen76's previous posts, can the RLOD happen due to an invalid dump? I thought the RLOD happened due to overheating.

u also get RLOD when flashed back invalid dump = triple beep..blinking red lights
green-orange-red blinking led-hold powerbutton a little longer to shutdown can be a bad dump for sure.. |

So I screwed up? I will be waiting for someone to check my dump, let's hope it's not too late... Anyway, before trying to upgrade to Rogero CFW 4.21, I made a backup of my 3.55 Kmeaw flash with multiman. Nevertheless, this 3.55 Kmeaw dump lacks the bootloader (it has something to do with the Hypervisor masking it when in CoreOS). Is there something that I can do to flash back my original 3.55 Kmeaw dump? Perhaps fill this 3.55 Kmeaw dump with the bootloader data from the Rogero 4.21 CFW flash dump? ur on NAND correct, softwaredumps/NANDS are missing 1 piece of the bootloader_0, with a hardwareflasher it got both right....i can't really help there as i only messed with NOR but the symptoms are obviously a bad flash and DITCH the 4.21 one as it can a bricker, use the latest from Rogero if u decide to use it
not the 4.21 one for sure, i had a brick on the same CFW back then..something with slow loading XMB..corrupt data errors, it was ROS0/1 on NOR flash being bad/corrupt and only way to fix was restoring via hardwareflasher, now i cannot recall what backup i used to restore, i think it was default OFW with patched coreos, but some bricks are not alike e.g with Rebug 4.21.1(user fault here!!) but it only restored using a pre-made backup of REX 4.21.1, for example a patched one didn't work = triple beep off, to bad i always forget to write down any notes about fixing, and finally for NAND software dump and missing 1 of the bootloaders can be fixed by putting that other piece back in that dump or something like that.....for that part u'll need the pro's to fix it upgoodluck |
