I have a PS3 3.56, metldr v1, e3 flasher, e3 card reader.
I'm currently on OFW 4.31.
I can not get into your FSM with PATCH.
FLASH FUN install mode, the console BRIK.
could you help me?
I used all methods, HXD, AUTO PATCH PATCH e3, MOSKETEES TREE (with this work, so that does not enter FSM).

do you have any valid dump??? how did you brick?

if u have a vaild dump.. then ur good its okay ... it happend with me yesterday .. all what i did wrong was byte revere then patch the byte reversed dump .. make sure u patch the ORIGINAL dump and always make sure u have a VAILD dump .. and in the 3.56 u must never get into fsm .. just go to recovery menu and continue as if ur installing from 3.55 .. good luck

in 3.56 you DO NOT enter FSM. You simply:
1. Patch your dumb and write it back with all switches down.
2. Restarts PS3, it asks to connect controller, do that, then install 4.30 E3 CFW.
3. install a 4.30 CFW you like (e.g. Rogero, Rebug)

just saying here but THIS depends on the "patches" used, now i don't know if there are "E3 ready" Three musk patches, the original files with corrected Patchlist.txt is in read-able format like default Progskeet patches/software dumps = IF.I header at OFFSET 200.

So when using those patches(attached) u need to take the "original E3 bkpps3.bin" fireup Flowrebuilder, drop "bkpps3.bin" into flowrebuilder, pick the last option "byte reverse a dump[/b] so the E3 dump reads IF.I instead of FI.I at offset 200 then change the "operation" in flowrebuilder to "Patch a bytereversed NOR dump ......[/b] and drop the Three musketeers patches - Patchlist.txt into the "Patch file box" and hit "execute operation" and finally just change the "Operation" again to the last option = "Byte reverse a dump" and hit "execute operation" again.

u end up with correctly patched original E3 bkpps3.bin (reads FI.I again at offset 200+ three musk patches COREOS added)


check the screenshot for example...

now if there are byteswapped "E3 three musk patches" like the "E3 manual patches" on the wiki...it's just like u posted = patch a bytereversed dump only"

if you are on 4.31 ofw and your ps3 is 3.56 min factory you can do nothing for the moment.

2k models that came with 3.56(+?) can be hacked using the dump..
I believe e3 claimed to have done that a while ago

to patch the dump it worked flawlessly

e3 flasher clip installed
dumped-byte reversed-verified my dump
then rebyte reverse so it will look like IIF or smthn in HxD
flashed
then bamm connect the controller screen
enterd recovery menu
installed rogero newest
