Hi,

My PS3 is currently on ofw 3.30, so I havn't ever never jailbreaked it before.
I'm planing to install rogero cfw 4.30, so my question is, do I need to upgrade it first to ofw 3.55 and then install rogero cfw 4.30 or can I get straight on cfw 4.30?

Ye install 3.55ofw then rogero 4.30 from recovery menu

I mean. You would be a big fat dick**** with a big emphasis on ****, if you had not - and just had decided you did not bother (which would be the apparent reason), and would rather have us use our time and help you with the question, instead of wasting some time yourself.

I'm just wondering, and I am nothing more than curious, nothing offensive.

The question is by the way ****ing easy and a simple search would answer it. It isn't that hard really, you should be capable of comprehending it, when you could make a post. (In the right subforum, I might add :D)

PS. the verb "jailbreak" as in: "I am jailbreaking something", is spelled "jailbroke" in past tense. The correct appliance of the verb "jailbreak" in your case is therefore: "so I havn't ever never jailbroken it before". We are looking past the other spelling mistakes here to just focus on the prior mentioned point.
It is getting increasingly on my nerves that many people cannot bend that word properly... With the high usage of the word in here by a vast range of people, it is thus often seen in its wrong shape.
It has breaked my balls man.

Yes, in fact I've been looking around and I've seen turorials saying you need to upgrade to ofw 3.55 first. But I have also seen turorials on this forum that's not even mentioning it.
Such as "Nicolas's Rogero CFW 4.30 NooB Tutorial" (not able to link). This tutorial even says "This CFW is installed only on consoles With OFW 1.00--3.55 and All CFW/MFW 3.5". Can't you see why I'm confused? OFW 1.00 to 3.55.

And yes, my spelling and grammar arn't the greatest. English isn't my main language. Not saying that's an excuse, but I'm trying my best, believe me.
Confused, that's all I was. I only needed this one simple question confirmed.

Just install 3.55ofw and then 4.30cfw, simple.

Installing from any OFW > 3.55 won't work. Which was what you already wrote.

I thought it was another noob that did not understand that _every_ OFW over 3.55 needs a hardwareflasher to downgrade it to 3.55, before being able to install a CFW on it. Believe me - that question comes a lot.
