Unless we get an exploit that lets us Make/Install Unsigned firmwares.

There exist a tool to create PS3 Boot Logo it called PS3 Color Boot Logo Creator, you can use it to make your own boot logo then create your custom PUP using MFWBuilder or GUPAD GUI Tool.

This error tell you that there is a missing devflash pkg files, i think that this script is still buggy, and you can try the PUAD-GUI tool better

Sorry could you tell me more about CFW you are using as a source.
I had tested this with Rogero 2.03 and Rogero 2.05 without any problem.
Also with OFW up to 4.31 without any problem.
If all of this tools does not work for you i'll upload my own coded tools to make this job for you

All Fixed now with 1.1 update ! viv@!

Quote "I'm getting two errors and the process never completes -
1. I get an error has occurred message.
2. 'unhandled exception has occurred error' message.
This happens with any CFW I have thrown at it.
I'm running windows 7."
