Before you go and buy a PSU, you should solder the wire like I said.

And no you can't use the grey one.

Okay going to solder now i'll let you know what happens.

Off topic i have another PS3 which the disc won't spin any ideas on how to fix without getting a new laser?

Am I supposed to choose two points(One GND one TRistate ) and solder them, or solder each GND to the Nor tristate?

I tried Soldering it still nothing. I've done research and they say the psu isn't the issue

all i can think of is the thermal sensor for the rsx, it has a direct trace to the syscon to tell if the rsx is overheated.

the sensor gets power in standby mode, so technically a damaged sensor could tell the syscon to give a warning.
