Hello,

Can someone here let me know how can I successfully resign this update pkg?

I tried the following without success:

1. Install original pkg
2. FTP with Multiman and copy the EBOOT.BIN and all SPRX and SELF files to my PC
3. With TrueAncestor, I resigned the EBOOT.BIN and all SPRX and SELF files.
4. Copy back all the resigned files through FTP to the game folder again.
5. Done.

When I start Netflix I got a black screen and then the game returns to the XMB

What am I doing wrong?

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

I managed to get it signed. It ran and looked like everything was working, but when I selected a movie it would hang

What I did was, I downloaded the old 2.10 version. I the changed the version in param.sfo to 2.11.

I started netflix. It prompted me to upgrade. I cancelled out of this back to xmb. I restarted netflix. It now starts properly and does not prompt to upgrade. It is running the old version, but it is running.

Thank you for posting, I already noted that the old 2.10 version is working if you just discard the update. I didn't try editing the PARAM.SFO to stop asking to update, I will try it more later. THANKS!

Anyway, if someone else can share some thoughts on how this app should be signed properly it would be great.

It works!

BUT... I have to run first Multiman, it seems that it needs the multiman payload to run properly...

How did you signed the package? did you use disc backup sign instead of NPDRM?

Sincerely, I don't like the idea to run first multiman before Netflix, I prefer to just bypass the update, anyway, I appreciate very much the time you spend on this.

running MM first...hmm what CFW are u running? ofcourse it runs fine from XMB like all homebrew....and for resigning..it's NPDRM...just use aldostools scetool package, u can do it manually but why all the hassle....
