Here is a quote from @SkillerCMP

Pfdtool can only remove couple of layers of encryptions. Maybe the save employs multiple layer of encryptions. If you want to mod BL2 GG is your only solution ATM.

That's definitely not the case here; I've found threads where people talk about using a generic Borderlands 2 save editor to mod their saves (e.g. this one).

Same case here.

I can decrypt Bayonetta, Demon's Souls and Castlevania without any problem. But i can't decrypt Mass effect 1 or Darksiders II. I've tried cli-pfdtool, bruteforce save, data K.G's save resigner. No output error shown when i decrypt ME or DS, but the "decrypted" files remains unchanged.

I'm not complaining here, but maybe someone has had the same issue that i have and can help us.

I solved my issue. I thought it wasn't decrypting my saves... But it was. I just wasn't re-encrypting them. I am an idiot.

Looks like Gearbox has locked down some of the tweaks, though... no more 127 bank slots It returns them to 27 when you save.

Great that it worked for you.

Remember that you always have to Decrypt PFD > Edit/Save > Encrypt >Verify PFD.

I am playing Borderlands 2. Back in the middle of December, 2012, I saw a post on GameFaqs with instructions on how to modify a game save file. I followed the instructions, set my console and user ID in the Global.conf file, and used BruteForce Save Data 1.4.2 to Decrypt PFD, edit the file with Gibbed, Save, Encrypt PFD, and transfer back to the PS3. It worked perfectly. Eventually I updated to BruteForce Save Data 1.4.6, and I was able to do the same game editing, and I also figured out how to re-sign a Borderlands 2 Game Save file with this version.

Just today, I updated to version 2.2.2, with hopes that I would be able to re-sign both a Borderlands 2 game save file, and a Borderlands 2 Profile file. I have not tried to decrypt, edit, and encrypt a game save file with Version 2.2.2 yet, but I followed these instructions to see if I could re-sign some other users super Borderlands 2 Profile file to my account:

For Resigning PS3 Save Data

Step 1 Edit the global.conf and enter your console_id. (Ctrl+H)
Step 2 Click "Set PARAM.SFO as Template" and Select "Configure Profiles" and Pick a Profile from 1 - 5
Step 3 A Dialog Box will appear, Select "PARAM.SFO" from your save.
Step 4 Give a Name For your Profile.
Step 5 Click Rebuild Button or (Right-Click Rebuild with current profile (Partial/Full)"

Well, I have failed miserably, as every single attempt that I've made has resulted in Borderlands 2 identifying my modified file as being corrupted on load up.

The user that posted the super Borderlands 2 Profile file wrote to me to tell me that he could re-sign his file to my account using his Game Genie. I would prefer to do it myself, if possible, so my question is this:

Is it possible to re-sign some other users Borderlands 2 Profile file to my account using BruteForce Save Data 2.2.2? And if so, what steps do I need to follow?

Any response would be appreciated.
