-16 now at 10:30am in southern Alberta gonna be ****en -30 by supper. Damb Chinook wind brings in nice +4 then WHAM in hours -30.

It can be -30 in the evening and +4 the next morning or even greater weather change closer you live to the mountains.

You have to be born in Alberta to really understand this. Winter coveralls with 10lbs of goose down to keep warm and a t-shirt the next day.

God bless HOMEMADE goose down quilts, (from the german farmers down the road), the real ones, not some store bought sh it. Best $350 I ever spent for queen size quilt.

Hell yesh. One of my favourite past times is building snow people. Made an army of them a couple Xmas's ago in the front lawn. Must have been about a dozen or so. Love making mini snow people as well, and placing them on top of hot tubs, or on peoples from steps/porches, side of the road, etc.

We haven't gotten a lot of snow up here in Canada. Mostly the parries (Alberta, Saskatchewan) and maritime (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia) provinces have been getting DUMPED on. We've had above normal temperatures for a while but its gone back to normal -20C to -30C.

FFS, I don't want to travel where you are. Anything above 20C is too much for me.

been snowing here in the uk.
thought we would have problems when the local council announced cutting costs not long ago but then i found out they have bought a new fleet of snow ploughs.

i spotted one just before the snow really started
