Isn't there already a homebrew app, that does that. I know you have to run the app everytime you boot your PS3. But who cares. That is a small price to pay, to be able to get on PSN with a banned console.

using PSID to spoof to the ID you are trying to flash to should allow you to flash the modified nor.bin with REBUGs toolbox. I havent tried but should work with ease.

I would be p!ssed if somone spoofed my Console ID and I got banned for their idiocy in feeding their need to be online....

I think CFW users should start their own servers/lobbies and start impetus for a syslink/LINK style built-in CFW solution to PSN like TeamFSD have done for modded 360 users:

open norbin in hex editor, search for hex value 000000010084(change the 84 to whatever target ur ps3 is http://www.ps3devwiki.com/wiki/Target_ID), should pull up 2 offsets.
