So i bought an E3 flasher to jailbreak my CECH-2506A Slim ps3 on OFW 4.31 .

After installing the flasher and successfully updated E3 flasher, I created a dump and went on to proceed with the downgrade ,check for errors and turn on ps3 to see if there was a "Connect controller to ps3 via cable..." and using a dongle-psjailbreak with ATMEL MEGA32L chip(which i believe is fake,and yes i installed the correct files already) to get to fsm . Ps3 did not turn off by it self and dongle wasn't lit green.

So after a desperation search, i found a friend to lend me his psp-3000 on 5.50 prome-4 with ps3jig to try to enter fsm again but failed horribly.

Out of frustration, i went and connect the controller to the ps3 and pressing the PS button without thinking. Then comes an error stating that "The system software cannot be run correctly...)

Searched everywhere but nothing comes up.
So now i've given up on jailbreaking and i'm trying to find a way to reverse the process and use my ps3 normally. Please help me ~

after desperation search you should know that only a PSP-1kmodel works as FSM dongle

however did u check your dump if its valid..?
and 2.5k models are fifty/fifty crackable
so if i were you i'd stay on OFW

25xx models are 50/50 chance but by the Data code you can identify which model can be flash and which one doesnt... right?

Guess that's one way , but if i want to return my ps3 to default i have to solder the SBE to the Nor tristate and flash it back with my backup dump right?

Or is there anyway other methods ? 'Cause technically my ps3 isn't bricked, just stuck at the fsm step.(until other symptoms show)

If your console stays on, you do not have to solder the wire. Simply flash you original non-patched dump, reboot the PS3 and you will be back to where you started.

I have only seen PS3Jig work on PSP 1000 models, on 5.50 GEN D3. That is what I use.

I just tested PS3Jig on my PSP 3001 that is on 6.20 permanent procfw b8. It will not work. It shows the communication on the PSP screen, but will never put the PS3 into FSM.

I don't have a 2000 series to test. But I know for a fact it will work on a phat PSP 1000 series on 5.50 GEN D3.

Same problem here. Do I just load the backup bkpps30.bin to the micro sd again as it is and flash with button 1 up on e3 panel and the rest down?

This just in!
Actually it has been know by a few, but I am excited to learn it myself. So I will share with you.

You can do this without a jig to enter FSM. You do not even need FSM at all.
I will be adding this to my guide. But here is how to do it.

What do you need to be safer about? If you have a valid backup, you can fix any brick.

But really, installing firmware is installing firmware.
Recovery menu is a safe way to install firmware.

Sure, you get a cleaner install from FSM, because the HDD is formatted before the firmware installs.

You can rebuild your File System from recovery menu, after doing this method, and everything is good to go.

Basically if the firmware installs correctly, the firmware is installed. If you didn't check the md5 hash, and the firmware installs not correctly, (which it will most likely error and not install anyway), you would still have a valid backup dump to fix it.

So this is just another of the many ways to jailbreak your PS3. Who is to say what way is the right way.
In my opinion all the different methods, have the same outcome. So in my mind the right way, is the way that takes the least steps.

This method, definitely has the least amount of steps. Especially if you don't want to wait hours to use the backup utility.
