Since nobody seems to notice or remember a nice feature from Cobra is that it bypasses the system Disc Authentication protocol, so if (for example) you burn a DVD-R with a PS2 Disc Image, it will recognize it as original PS2 disc, you don't have to run multiMAN for that, you just boot the CFW and put the disc in. It even work with PS1 CD-R backups too, again, no need to go to multiMAN, just straight from the XMB.

I wish that kind of stuff was researched by some developer(s) with enough experience on the matter.

SeeYa!

I do remember that for when I had a cobra. I was testing Singstar games for the wife. I was testing them on our slim, Figure can use that much of the emulator. Sadly they did not work as much as she wanted them too. But my real reason for posting, Has anyone heard any news about a release? Or did OPGary/DeanK donate, More then us mortals.

He must have sold out. No way you announce something and a month later you don't provide a few updates there and there.

I hope not. That would be a major bummer. It's the only thing I've had left to look forward to in the scene.

What would really be awesome would be if he actually did take a payoff to keep quiet but then he releases it anyway Win/win for him and us (he gets paid for his hard work, we get cobra patches for free) and Cobra gets screwed...

I think we should give him the benefit of the doubt, according to his twitter he hasn't really looked at it since he announced it. Im waiting patiently and silently hoping he hasn't been bought.

@oct0xor If I'm correct your twitter says you're not going to release the payload for PS2 because you don't believe in piracy?
