I Hope you were being Sarcastic there. You do not yet deserve the noob label work harder for it please!

I was just asking because I am getting confused about the 3M Patch way that Player test and updated on his Tut, if I recall good from 4.31 we always have to go through FSM right ? With either 3M patch or Rogeros patch.

I have a bigger problem now... I don't think I can turn on my ps3 anymore. My power and eject buttons do not light up anymore and they're both unresponsive. Is there anyway to turn on my ps3? I think I could use the 3M patch but I don't know how I could power my ps3 on again.

I went to a few ps3 repairs services offered around my area. The ones I tried to contact said they could not fix my problem. I honestly don't think I can solder a bypass wire myself. I also tried using a ps3 controller but it did not work.

you had the broken prongs right? , can you look at this pic at tell me which prongs are missing? (the numbers)

it sucks that these models need a power/eject board attached to work.

Hey I just opened up my ps3 again and found that only 2, 6, 8, 10 are the only prongs still left attached...

I tried taking a picture but it was too blurry to see anything.

You can downgrade your PS3 without using the eject button.

With METHOD 1 in Chapter 2 of my guide, you can do it without a FSM dongle.

I finally got to test the CECH-2503A and can report that with no power/eject board plugged in, inserting a disk caused it to start up. Disk appeared on the XMB and ejected fine by pressing triangle and selecting menu eject option
