Im getting an error when I try to encrypt my PFD of my game save, as it says:

Error: Console ID needs to be 16 bytes
Error: Could not parse a global config file (error at line 5).

My PS3 Console ID frrm multiman looks like:
PS3-ID (IDPS): 0000000-1-00xx000x-1xxxAxxx-4xFxxxxC

So how is it supposed to be entered into the config file correctly?

I think I figured it out.

So its console_id=0000000100xx000xxxxxx43xxxfx9xxc
Without the "-" dashes and last bit of zeros.
("x" is hiding my real Console ID numbers. hehehe )

So for DMC 5 BLES01698, I got the disk hash key from my eboot.elf how do I share this disc hash key?
Function F6 of my eboot.ef shows: The key for DmC: Devil May Cry [BLES01698]is 0C0B01070E06010F0505020609080A01

; "DmC: Devil May Cry"
[BLES016998]
;disc_hash_key=
secure_file_id:*=0C0B01070E06010F0505020609080A01

Its already in the games.config file.. no need for a copy and paste and export feature.

I can't copy and paste as if I do, it crashes this windows App under Crossover. Ugh.
A feature to export Disc hash keys?

Here's my game save on Chapter 17 as Human difficulty with patched eboot cheats for max orbs and stuff and everything upgraded except Kablooie gun:

Thank for the 2.3.1 Update!!

1. I like how you implemented the Green Box when decrypted!

2. I also like when decrypted and when you exit and re-start the app, the app actually remembers the decrypted save and makes the box and the key green! Love it!

There minor issues that I encounter,

After I decrypted the save and when I click other saves, it prompts a waring dialog box. Which is great. But it is also kinda repetitive at the same time. When I click the decrypted and and when I click other save, the warning prompts again. A user might want to work on more than one save at a time or compare values with other saves. The prompts can be a hindrance. This warning dialog box should only be used when the user tries to exit the application with a decrypted save not when clicking other saves.

If there is only one save decrypted, the message will be "PlayStation 3 only reads *encrypted* save data. Do you want to leave the save data "Name" decrypted?".

But

If there is More than one save decrypted, the message will be "PlayStation 3 only reads *encrypted* save data. Do you want to leave the 2 [No. of Green Keys] save datas decrypted?".

A Minor suggestion.

If the Box is green, I think there should be this text "Double click the save data to open in HEX Editor." below in the green box like the status bar. This text can place above "2013 by aldostools.org". The purpose of this to really idiot proof the application for all user and new users who are new to modding.

Thanks Aldo!

Why should homebrew be reversed?

If source is not available, it’s usually faster to make new implementation from documentation.

Say to the build 2.3.2

Regarding to the question about why it is a Windows tool... there are some key reasons:

- It is easier and faster to develop on Windows, than on PS3
- If you can get the same results on PC, why to waste additional time developing it for PS3
- Lack of interest is another reason.

@aldostools

I found a small issue.

After I decrypted the save, when I right-click on other save, the "Decrypt PFD" is grey out. I think it should be enabled.
