there is no 4.31 cfw and if your ps3 can be jailbroken then u would need a hardware flasher, no other way than that . what is your ps3 model number ? eg cech03 etc

Is it possible though? If i waited could one of the hackers eventually crack it and release a cfw?

by the way how much do hardware flashers cost?

Might switch to that since Rogero no longer boots external drives plugged via esata from cold boot.

To be honest, it's likely this won't either though.

No other 4.x firmware boots external 3.5 inch drives on internal header including Rebug 4.21 etc.
