actually i have seen person 1 on #psdowngrade tell person 2 his dump was good
when infact person 1 had checked it saw it was a bad dump but thought it would be "funny" to get person 2 to brick his console.

as person 2 thought person 1 knew what he was doing and trusted him he took his word for it.

by having a type of "trustee" title or a "approved" stamp under there name would help prevent this type of thing here.

so ie

homebrew trustee "or" homebrew teacher approved
or
hard mod trustee "or" hard mod teacher approved

so it shows the modd's or admin has acknowladge a persons ability and as such they trust these individuals to help others in the given titles sections.

this way when noobs or threads get flooded with info its easer to find who is actually giving good replies and who is just guessing

I asked for this over a month ago in the moderator section, still waiting.....

This is what i said back in November, in that staff section....

So @Pirate could you create a new group, called:
Scene Contributor
or
Forum Helper
or
V.I.P

Or something that identifies them apart from regular members and also give them extra room in their PM box

Im the worst moderator and s-mod on history of PS3hax, still i think im *naive* enough to proven myself that some users can rely on me. (even if im not a *native* english speaker).

About user tags, i saw on many boards some default system that when your poscount as your help or by likes you have a new *badge* proving that you are good helping people or a valuable piece on the community.

Problem is:

1) If the system go for the likes, many users (traitors) have more likes than the one who was actually loyal to HAX.

2) Trust like many of you said is something that you don't buy on a market.

We know each other enough. Users that keep HAX running.
I don't know honestly if giving badges or different custom user titles for users will do any better.

For example @playerkp420 , he always help all E3 (downgrade related issues.)
@baileyscream with his foolproof guide (and i can keep on going).
Yes, indeed they deserve more than a badge as we moderators a little respect from certain *people*.

But that line of *trust* is very thin to condecorate with something.
Long story short, i think it's better to prove that you are good on what you do here on HAX, that way you *gain trust* from most of the users here.

Well he registered on 2007. Im here since 2011.
Even if he was even worst than me, it's a huge difference.

I could probably name ten previous moderators worse than you and maybe two current ones worse than you.
