This is ****ing fantastic news :D
Seems like I'll have to use both MM and Iris now, because I doubt MM will be getting this update soon. ![]() I have one request though... Or rather a plea/wish... But, its getting worse and worse with all the hate following good news such as this, and its getting unbearable... I know I could just get the **** out basically, but to be honest, I do not want to :/ I just don't think that it is necessary for us to be throwing the ****ing mud too... After all, this is the one of the PS3 hacking sites (the others in my mind being crunch,psx-scen and ps3new), which seems to be the most supportive of open source software, compared to the others, and thus the most mature scene site in my eyes... Which is also why I chose it to begin with. I really just don't want to see the mudcast, if it could be avoided, I think that was what flatz (and iirc KDSBest - sorry for mentioning your name, if I am wrong) was talking about too... I'm telling you this as a friend - if you consider us that, more than just a crybaby wanting to cry ![]() Well written news article as always btw. <3 Nicely grammatically written, along with a nice payload/message, which just makes it even better to read. I was going nuts trying to resign my ps1 classics yesterday, because they do not contain an eboot.bin, only an eboot.pbp. This comes in at a nice timing. Maybe, I will not have to resign 90% of those psx games now I'll probably only resign the multi-disc games, as I don't know how iris' disc-swapping tackles those.

Haven't used Iris so far, and can't find anything about installation,so only one question regarding installation.
Do I just install *.pkg file, or is there anything else I should know? Many files and folders are in the *.rar file, so to avoid confusion. Thank you. |

/ Dev_usb000 / PSXGAMES / Metal Gear Solid | | --- Cover.jpg -> the cover | | --- MGS1.IMG -> disc 1 | ---- MGS2.IMG -> disc 2 | | - Psx_config.cfg -> psx config. saved from Iris Manager (Memory Card, Video Options ...) Iris Manager mounts USB / BDVD and HDD0 in that order of preference to change the hard disk virtually. If a device can be mounted It is used to simulate EJECT / PUT. If a game has two or more discs when the game asks for a disk change, unplug and plug the USB device or disc ejects and hits CD / DVD / BR to change the "iso" (to be ax when your "ejecta" LED flashes green when you put a "new" medium green LED does not blink). The method is rotating so when using the latest iso it will change to the first iso) NOTE: You can use a BR disc without problems PSX Emu patched. It is not necessary to eject the disc to play. aint tried myself ...... yet
