If I have a hdd 1000MB just like in 1996's then there was a meaning to talk about 100mb..
1 megabyte (MB) = 1 million bytes; 1 gigabyte (GB) = 1 billion bytes

Well, for example if you run DmC with MultiMan it will ask you if you want to resign it. If you don't, it won't work, it's a pretty feature.

Yes, you're right, Multiman is a big fatass, but with a Hard Disk of 320 GB + an external one of 500 GB, who cares about 100-200 mb (obviously only if it's an useful software)?
I'm not defending MultiMan, but it has these two feature that are important to me (resign games and the autoupdate, that's more "comfortable" than update iris). However Iris now has a the PSX/PS1 support, that's a very cool thing, but i don't need it now, because all the ps games that i want to play are built in collection (see metal gear 1 and 2) or there're available on the ps store.

I also hate them, but as far as i don't pay anything to them, for me its alright.

MM has been decrypt/fix/crypt/resigning, games selfs etc, since last Full release or 2 full. But since the last update it does not ask me anymore, when i run Black ops II, like it did with the version before the bug fix . Now i am wondering, if it has a shortcut, or if you have to press something now, or if it remembered my selection = NO.?

I wonder if he removed the prompt before starting a game ,cause it is defiantly gone now since last update for me.. Every time i started Black ops II even using a patch it always would prompt & i would press O cause i like my games selfs original ..

@Aster93 Personally i like MultiMAN & everything it offers ,but i have a 1TB internal so it do not faze my PS3s. Even if it was 5/10GB i would still use it to be honest. I am using both Backup managers. It is very small, it is not like it will affect your PS3 in anyway. It is less in MB than a EBOOT.BIN from a game disc

Toolz i mentioned you by accident , disregard..

There is no need to choose one. You can have both managers installed.

I completly love Multiman. I never tried Iris Manager and i'm not even tempted a bit. Multiman as all the features I need plus even have a File Manager & FTP built it! It does exactly the way I like, except that they should still improve NTFS support.

What about NTFS and Iris Manager?

Nah.

1MB = 1.000.000 bytes
1GB = 1.000.000.000 bytes

If we are to be picky ( :P ), then:
1MiB = 1048576 bytes
1GiB = 1073741824 bytes

MB/GB is accepted as being a multiply from something raised in the power of 10, while what you wrote, is something raised in the power of 2, i.e. binary.

I do agree, it is ****ing confusing though, since both Windows and OS X calculates the size of harddisks from something raised in the power of 2... understandable, since the OS works with bytes, which is 8 bits in a multiple of 2 afterall.... while the skanky HDD producers writes the sizes of their HDD's in the power of 10, so they seem bigger... and well....
perhaps because it is alot easier for the customers to calculate and understand something raised in the power of 10, as it can easily be used and compared in our own decimal system...
