i got e3 flasher
i followes this guide and was success downgrade phat ps3...

now i did the same on slim ps3 cech2504A...
i did a flash dump
i checked it my self,,,looks good and valid
i uploaded my dump for checking and was told here it is valid.
i used one key downgrade by E3....lights stopped flashing...lights started ligh one by one,,,and suddenly lights was flashing....i press stop....tried again....now my ps3 power on for 2 seconds then power off...power light is off...but if i press it it tyrns red and once again i press it,,it powers up for 2-3 seconds and power off ?!?!!?

Is there an answer....some nice guy here at the forum told me that i need to connect a wire between two points on the board and then continue downgrading as regular......

I haven't tried it. I guess that by saying "orig dump" you mean the dump I took after my PS3 bricked (Rogero 4.21 CFW). What result can be deducted from doing this? I will try it if you think it can help.

Hey Baily thanks for your efforts..But I've got one question

when I was going through 'E3 FLASHER Fast Dual Boot Manual (edited by KMAN82)' there the last image shows that a wire is connected between E3 Flasher's Ribbon and the part that we have to solder..But in your guide there is no mention of that wire...So my question is 'do we have to connect those wires or not?we choose not to connect will there be a problem?'

Hello, so I moved into teensy because 1,2 prog couldn't write the flash , now, when opening CMD , and trying to write , NORway says it cannot recognize the chip (0x00000) and cannot know the I'd (0x00) I have no idea why it's zeros , but can anyone tell me a reason ? And how to fix this ?

I had this problem before, asked judges,he said check the wiring.

After re-wiring BAM it worked.

I would like to know the answer to that also. I have a couple PS3s I am going to be setting up for fast dual boot. If you don't have to solder would be nice. But I think you do have to solder 2 wires.

@baileyscream maybe forgot to add that part?

Can somebody please jailbreak my ps3 to where I can mod and unlock skyrim saves like downgrade it and simply jailbreak it cause it keeps failing for me so can somebody help me out please? I don't know if you need to but a chip or something to make it work but please help me!!!

if your going to dual boot then dont use the clip use the linker.
i should have said that & i will add it in

also if you use the clip (i dont recomend it) then you need to solder the wires to the points on the ffc attached to the clip & i will add this in also.

for the linker (that really you should do as it wont come loose as its soldered)
then there is a wiring diagram for all boards in the guide (check your board against the diagrams to see if your board allows dual boot at this time)

i will be going through the other boards to see where a trace for ce# can be cut so dual boot can be added to the other boards.
