Hi all.
I have a bad story for my PS3 2508A DATA CODE 1A (OFW 4.31 , 3.56 on factory)

1.make good dump via E3 flasher.
2.try make downgrade dump and write it in my PS3, but it not work for 4.31
3.write back my original dupm and PS3 working fine!

BAD STORY
4.I make downgrade dump for 4.30 and write via E3 flasher.
5.rename down425to355.pup to PS3UPDAT.PUP and make update in recovery mode! (my mistake)
6.PS3 is breaked!
7.Now i write good original dump but PS3 is not working!
8.Now after write dump for downgrade for 4.30 I have request 4.40 or high FW. Installation begin only on down425to355.pup(after rename ofcouse) file, other PUPs not working! I think down425to355.pup make changes for SYSCON.

Any body know how I can fix it?

First you need solder tristade to sbe then your PS3 will power on without video, HDD/USB activity, then you need to flash your valid backup. First you need to solder!

noobzega and playerkp420 both already replied you..trust me if u have valid dump and the clip is perfect sitting..u wont get any error..noobzega helped me..when i tried to restore my valid dump..i faced the same prob..ps3 shut down..and i have to press the power switch again to show red light..lol..just try to listen what player and noobs both said earlier..solder the sbe cable..and use the flush fun mode..(here is the tip how to know clip is perfect. 1.restore ur valid dump.2.backup up the valid dump again u restored earlier ..3.compare both..if they are same..ur clip is perfect..specially thnx to playerkp420 for the tips.and noobzega for the help

i was downgrading my slim ps3 and it got bricked i might have done something wrong or skipped any step but now console is giving no display no usb power n no hdd activity..
i attempted to rebrick it through the original backup using flashfun method but it always gives error
(start logging...program PS3 BIOS.fail to initialize PS3 BIOS.) and 10001100 error on blue lights...

your help would highly be appreciated
i am from pakistan so no one is offering any services regarding my problem. even i cant buy another e3 flasher because it is unavailable in pakistan . the which i had bought was came from USA from one of my friend.

what i had done while downgrading was.
1- updated the e3 with samsung multiconsoles update
2- create 2 backups of my NOR.
3-patched my backup using PS3 Nor Dump Patcher v0.01
4-replaced the patched backup with original one n pressed start whil all buttons were down..
and after that step e3-gave an error n when i tried to restart that step there were no display. HDD activity n no usb functionality.

5- for re-bricking i soldiered NOR tristate with SBE n put my original dump in TF card n tried to recover it in flash fun mode but error comes (start logging...program PS3 BIOS.fail to initialize PS3 BIOS.) and 10001100 error on blue lights...

You will be one of the luckiest users around if you get your ps3 "revived" again...

Ok I am sorry but i kinda go mad when people decide to skip validation and go straight forward with flashing.

Send that backup to the dump validation thread have it validated, if it comes back OK than you might have luck, after you get your answer come back here and we will help you. until then DO NOT TRY ANYTHING.
